Accessibility statement
This English text is a convenience translation. If it differs from the Hebrew version, the Hebrew prevails.
Our commitment
We treat accessibility as part of the service, not an addition to it. The site is built to be usable with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, and when the visitor has changed text size or asked the system to reduce motion.
The accessibility menu was written by us and runs from this site's own server. We did not embed a third-party accessibility overlay, so no information about your browsing leaves for anyone else.
Accessibility follows the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013, and the Israeli standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on WCAG 2.1.
What has been made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation, including a skip link to the main content at the start of every page.
- A clear, visible focus indicator on every element reachable by keyboard.
- The workspace tabs support arrow keys, Home and End, and a correct association between each tab and its panel.
- Contrast ratios were checked automatically on every piece of text on the page and meet AA.
- A hierarchical heading structure, marked page landmarks, and page language and writing direction declared in the code.
- Graphics carrying no information are hidden from screen readers so as not to add noise.
- Every form field has an associated label, and success and error messages are written in text rather than colour alone.
- A visitor who has asked their operating system to reduce motion gets the site without movement.
- The site was tested in current browsers and at different screen sizes, including mobile.
- A permanent accessibility menu in the corner of the screen: larger display, high contrast, greyscale, highlighted links, stopped animations, a readable font, increased line spacing and a large cursor. Your preference is saved in your browser and returns on your next visit.
Parts that are not yet fully accessible
We would rather say explicitly what is not yet done:
- The background illustration at the top of the page is decorative only. It is hidden from screen readers and carries no information, so it has no text alternative.
- Downloadable files produced by the system itself are checked individually against the requirements, and a particular file may need correction. Contact us and we will handle it and provide an accessible alternative.
- Content embedded from a third party is not fully under our control. If you encounter such a case, we would like to know.
Ran into a problem
If you found an element that is not accessible, or had difficulty using the site, please contact us. We will try to handle it quickly and provide an alternative in the meantime.
